Our Beliefs
-
To win the lost at all cost, and make as many disciples for Christ as we possibly can in our generation.
-
A world where no one lives or dies without Christ!
-
Holiness: Be mindful, God chose you for himself and the service you render is to have the Holy Ghost first and foremost. Yours, therefore, is the holy calling that requires you set yourself apart from the world of sin (consecration), in order you may serve Him acceptably, in reverence and godly fear.
Adaptability Things don’t always go as you plan. Be flexible and able to change when circumstances change. It should not be about you having your way. Keep the big picture in mind.
Respectfulness: Attach high value to everyone because of the high value God attaches to them and the high price Jesus was willing to pay for them. Treat, honor, and speak to every person the way you want to be treated, honored, and spoken to, especially when you disagree with them. Matthew 7:12.
Valor: Be bold and courageous in doing God’s will and fulfilling your assignment from him. Remember God is with you. And you have not been given a spirit of fear. 2 Timothy 1:7.
Enterprising: Work hard. Plan well. Don’t look for excuses. Look for solutions. Be innovative. Seize opportunities. Take initiative. Find a way to get the job done, to bring in the Harvest. To win the lost of all cost. Galatians 6:9.
Servanthood: Jesus is our model. Like the Son of man, don’t seek to be served but to serve. Give. Sacrifice. Work with the Holy Spirit. Remember the path of service is the path to greatness. You will not be remembered, nor rewarded, for what you receive, but for what you give. 2 Corinthians 4:5.
Teamwork: Employ the power of unity. Work together. Combine your strengths and reduce your weaknesses. Do your part and help others to do theirs.
One God
We affirm our belief in the one-eternal God, Creator and Lord of the world, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who governs all things according to the purpose of his will.
The Authority and Power of the Bible
We affirm the divine inspiration, truthfulness and authority of both Old and New Testament Scriptures in their entirety as the only written word of God, without error in all that it affirms, and the only infallible rule of faith and practice. We also affirm the power of God's word to accomplish his purpose of salvation. The message of the Bible is addressed to all men and women.
The Uniqueness and Universality of Christ
We affirm that there is only one Savior and only one gospel, although there is a wide diversity of evangelistic approaches. We recognize that everyone has some knowledge of God through his general revelation in nature. But we deny that this can save, for people suppress the truth by their unrighteousness. We also reject as derogatory to Christ and the gospel every kind of syncretism and dialogue which implies that Christ speaks equally through all religions and ideologies. Jesus Christ, being himself the only God-man, who gave himself as the only ransom for sinners, is the only mediator between God and people. There is no other name by which we must be saved. All men and women are perishing because of sin, but God loves everyone, not wishing that any should perish but that all should repent. Yet those who reject Christ repudiate the joy of salvation and condemn themselves to eternal separation from God. To proclaim Jesus as "the Saviour of the world" is not to affirm that all people are either automatically or ultimately saved, still less to affirm that all religions offer salvation in Christ. Rather it is to proclaim God's love for a world of sinners and to invite everyone to respond to him as Savior and Lord in the wholehearted personal commitment of repentance and faith.
